Julio Briceño, Los Amigos Invisibles vocalist, launched his first solo record, titled MF* Radio. He didn't quit the Grammy nominated band, he just fulfilled one of his wishes. Although the Amigos have been succesful with a spanish dance disco sound, Briceño prefered to create a complete album in english, and to approach to a more rockish style. The result has its ups and downs. But some songs are really great. The first single, Shine, reminds me a little bit to U2.

Julio Briceño, vocalista de Los Amigos Invisibles, lanzó su primer disco en solitario, titulado MF* Radio. No dejó la banda nominada al Grammy, sólo cumplió uno de sus deseos. Aunque los AMigos han sido exitosos con un sonido disco music en español, Briceño prefirió crear un álbum completo en inglés, y acercarse a un estilo más rockero. El resultado tiene altibajos. Pero algunas canciones son grandiosas. El primer sencillo, Shine, me recuerda un poco a U2.
