I love remixes. Here you have some done for Justin Timberlake. Particularly, I like Paul Oakenfoalds job with My love and What goes around (comes around). The result doesn't seem like a remix, but a song that was meant to be that way. Congrats for him! hehe Here you can download those versions, but algo remixes for his new single, Lovestoned.

Amo las remezclas. Aquí tienen algunas hechas para Justin Timberlake. Particularmente me gusta el trabajo de Paul Oakenfold con My love y What goes around (comes around). El resultado no parece una remezcla, sino más bien una canción que debió ser así, una versión mejorada pues jejeje. Aquí puedes bajar esas versiones, pero también remezclas para el nuevo sencillo de Justin, Lovestoned.

Emma Bunton, retro pop super star / Emma Bunton, retro pop súper estrella.

Nadie pensaría que las preformuladas Spice Girls harían música interesante, menos un disco concepto, ni mucho menos que una sola (solita) lograra el paquete completo. Pues fue así. Emma Bunton, la edulcorada Baby Spice, dejó su personaje caricaturezco y se lanzó con una colección de temas al estilo Motown de los pasados años 60. Se trata de Free me, una colección de temas que colocaron varios exitos en las listas británicas, y que le dieron paso a una bien reseñada continuación.
En 2007 lanzó Life in mono, álbum que sigue en la onda retro de su antecesor, pero que agrega elementos de trip hop y de electrónica en general. Más palabras sobrarían. Aquí les dejo un par de sencillos de Free me y uno de Life in mono.

No one would think that the popish Spice Girls would do interesting music, nor a concept album, never the less that only one of the chicks would achieve all that goals. But it happened. Emma Bunton, the super sweet Baby Spice, left her cartoon personification and launched a collection of Motown styled songs. The title of the project is Free me, an it climbed very high on the Uk musical charts.
In 2007 she launched another work: Life in mono. It is still retro, but includes trip hop and electrónic sounds. Here you have the audio files.

Everyone wants with her. Calle 13, Juanes, Timbaland and Chris Martin have done duets with her and now and italian duo did it too. Apenna prima di partire is the title of the song that she recorded with them. It kinda remands me of her work in Foclore, her second album: very acoustic and deep felt. Enjoy again!

Apenna prima di partire es el titulo de la canción que grabó. Me recordó su trabajo en Folclore, su segundo disco: letras sencillas, buenas melodías y mucho sentimiento. ¡Disfruten!

New song by Garbage! / Nueva canción de garbage!

It has been two days since the last time that I posted a comment. Some events happened in my country, Venezuela. A national private channel, the most important, was closed by the President. He is trying to take off venezuelan's freedom of speech. You people can't do very much but I just wanted you to know. I haven't felt very good in here.

Well, let's forget about this for a moment, and get started with the good news. Garbage, one of my favorite bands, is about to release in june 1st a greatest hits album. It will include a new song called Tell me when it hurts. Here you have it. It will not be a smash radio hit, but its good indeed. Enjoy!

Olvidemos los problemas por un rato. Garbage lanzará el 1 de junio un disco de grandes éxitos, acompañado con una nueva canción, titulada Tell me when it hurts. Aquí la tienen. No será un éxitos radial, pero es buena igual. ¡Tripeen!

Natalie Inbruglia is back! / Natalie Imbruglia está de vuelta

Natalie Imbruglia is back. Glorious is the name of her new single, included in her fourth album to date. Other songs are Our life, It’s not about the distance, Shame and Alive again. They are produced by Ben Hillier, who worked on Blur's album. The song is really nice. I don't think it will do good in the charts, but I guess she hasn't been worried about that lately. ¿Will she ever have a hit like Torn?

Glorious es el nombre del nuevo single de Natalie Imbruglia, el cual se desprende del cuarto material discográfico de Natalie. Otras canciones que incluye el disco son Our life, It’s not about the distance, Shame y Alive again. El disco es producido por Ben Hillier, quien ha trabajado con Blur. La canción es buena. No creo que le vaya muy bien en las listas de éxitos, pero a ella tampoco le ha preocupado mucho eso ultimamente. ¿Alguna vez volverá a tener un hit como Torn?

Produced by Greg Wells in Los Angeles, with two songs co-produced by Jodi Marr and John Merchant, Mika's début album Life in Cartoon Motion was released on 5 February 2007, and has brought comparison with artists such as Freddie Mercury, Scissor Sisters, Elton John, Robbie Williams and David Bowie. His second single is called Love today.

Su segundo sencillo es Love today.

"Shut up and drive", Rihanna's second single / "Shut up and drive", segundo single de Rihanna

Shut up and drive

Rihanna hasn't released her Good girl gone bad album yet, but she already chose the second song to promote it. Shut up and drive is the name, and has a rockish vybe in it. I'm not sure if it will do good in the music charts around the world, but I'm personally liking it. On top of this post is one of the first live performances of the song.
Rihanna no ha lanzado su disco Good girl gone bad aún, pero ya escogió la segunda canción para promocionarlo. Shut up and drive es el nombre, y tiene una vibra rockera. No estoy seguro de que funcione mucho en las listas de éxitos radiales y de ventas, pero me está gustando. En la parte superior de este post está una de las primeras actuaciones en vivo de la canción.

Madonna releases "Hey you", a new song

Ok. This is the first time that I write here, in my new blog. Hope you like it. That's all I have to say. So, lets get started.

Madonna left her disco music vibe and recorded a brand new song, with a brand new producer and a brand new style. It is called Hey you, and was produced by Pharrell Williams (Britney Spears, The Neptunes). Unlike her previous efforts, this piece puts Madonna and Pharrrell on a new musical groUnd. Guitars, batery and, after all, a very acoustic composition is showed. I don't need to say that the lyrics have a very "heal the world" message.

Maddy recorded it for Live Earth 2007. She'll of course perform on that special event.
